We’re Carver & Lauren (and those fur balls are Sawyer & Summit), but for fun you can call us Golden Advantures. We’re husband and wife with a baby boy on the way, adventurers, best friends and free thinkers looking to change our lives and see more of the world. We’re aspiring part time van lifers with big goals of embracing a minimalistic lifestyle with less stress, more fun, adaptable thriving pups, and financial freedom over time.

After selling our first van, we’re back to our original roots of experimenting with various camping methods. We’re always looking for our next adventure and love to travel.

The primary goal of this website is to help and inspire others to build the DIY van of their dreams. We share blogs, videos and other social media related content to help you do just that. In the future, we hope to responsibly share more of our travels with you guys as well.

Carver is a mechanical engineer, YouTube creator, lover of photography and supportive husband. He’s over-prepared for almost every situation and has us ready for whatever life hits us with on the road.

Lauren

Lauren works in design, would stop at every restaurant on the road if she could and is most likely who you’ll be speaking to if you’re on any of our platforms other than YouTube.

Sawyer & Summit

Sawyer and Summit are our fluffy travel companions that are total troopers in the van. They live for adventures, especially hiking and swimming. They love snuggles and meeting new friends on the road.

Edit: We recently gained a golden angel through our boy, Sawyer. However, he will always be a huge part of our van life journey and our hearts.
